Who am I?

Every request your browser makes carries a sender: the public address with which you enter the world. That is rarely your own device's address — behind a router, provider or proxy you look along with that middleman's outgoing address.

Every public address belongs to a registration at a regional registry (RIPE, ARIN, APNIC and their peers). This tool asks without a target on the hand: the server reads your address from the connection and consults the registry IANA names for that address — network name, range, country and organization.

What comes back speaks about networks and their owners, not about you: address-range registrations are public registers. The answer is for one address — yours — and is not stored or reused.

Show the public address your browser makes this request with and ask the registry belonging to that address what it reports: network name, range, country and organization.
